Talk over Kumano: Risaku Suzuki, photographer born in Shingu city talks about Kumano

"I kind of want to be a painter even now. I was attracted by photography because I could see the results in a short time. Photographs can be published in the forms of a poster, a book, and on a web site, and one of the characteristics of photographs is the number of choices in presentation form. Because I have published my works in the form of framed large-size prints in exhibition spaces, it can be said that my photographs are partly similar to paintings". (Risaku Suzuki)
