FRAMMENTI a snapshot of adolescence
Karla Hiraldo Voleau (*1992) takes photographs in Italian high schools, from Venice to Sicily, from Molise to Sardinia, via Rome and Emilia-Romagna. Portraits and words: the photographer asks young people about romantic relationships, feminism, social media. She combines the portraits with transcripts of the conversations. Like Pier Paolo Pasolini in his film “Comizi d’amore,” her source of inspiration, the “Frammenti” project transforms portraits into a collective experience of teenage life today.
