The almost 50m long collage, just recently on view in the Silver Eye Centre of Photography in Pittsburg, is a a sobering visual account of politics, capitalism, social priorities and the collapse of the 'American Dream'. Starting this Saturday, January 26, and for one week only, this unique collage will be on view at the gallery amidst an exciting selection of other works from the collection Press Art from Peter and Annette Nobel, by artists such as Olaf Breuning, Gilbert &George, Ernst Haas, Thomas Hirschhorn, Candida Höfer, Alfredo Jaar, Vera Lutter, Vik Muniz and Martin Parr.Last Autumn b.frank books published a limited edition book on Steacy's collage, which only soon after already sold out. Nominated by photo-eye among the top 10 Best Books of 2012 we will have a few rare signed copies at the gallery, in addition to a selection of the artist's newest photographic works.
